Description

In this collection of American haiku and self-revealing poems, Teola Ruoff Constance shares her insights on the natural and spiritual worlds, and on the experiences and emotions that have burdened and blessed her. Feedsack dresses, baked beans, a wart, cherry pits, weariness, despair, sorrow, grandchildren, thanksgiving, parallel parking, quiet night hours, resignation, rebirth -- Teola interprets these and other ingredients of life with the grace, reverence, and humor owed to the roles they have played in her own journey.

Author Biography:

Teola Ruoff Constance is an Elder in the Community of Christ Church, and a retired Registered Nurse, nursing instructor, and homemaker. She was widowed at age 37, with 5 children to raise. To the best of her knowledge, each one of those children still knows how to parallel park.
