FRANCESCA BARGIELA-CHIAPPINI holds a research position at the Nottingham Trent University and has published widely on business discourse, most recently on Asian business discourse(s): a co-authored volume (Peter Lang), and a double special issue of the Journal of Asian Pacific Communication. She is also involved in advancing multi-disciplinary research for the study of organizations and institutions. CATHERINE NICKERSON worked for many years at the Business Communication Studies department and Centre for Language Studies at the Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She is
