Good game, fully agree with the other reviews. Unfortunately Infinity Ward and Microsoft are no longer redeeming the code for the map pack to download now. No point in buying Game of the Year Edition for me. :(

This is a really good game that tests you to use differant strategies than normal fps. But in parts it becomes unbelievably dificult to complete. You dont get any achievments for the multiplayer but that makes it easier to get the full 1000g just from finishing the campaign. But in the end the Multiplayer makes it a game worth buyng =]

this game is difficult to play and has to much real time controll . i played cod wow for a very long time then tried to play this game and felt that the game was impossible to get the hang of and was well short of expectation and would only recommend to hard core gamers or if it is part of a collection.

One of the best multiplayer games ever, simple yet amazing. Games have hardly changed since this because it was epic.

I can't beleave it took me so long to actually play this game it's amazing great fire fights, a good length, great multiplayer, plenty of different guns, grafics are great just wish the ps3 version had trophies then I'd have it for both consoles if you havn't tried this series set well you really should start now & I'm sure Mighty Ape will be happy to sell you one at a great price as usual

Epic single player storyline, great multiplayer All round outstanding game

This game has a fantastic multiplayer aspect. While the game may be short the rewards for your time and effort in single player unlock loads of new multiplayer maps and styles!

It's gritty, real and intense. Sometimes you need to take a breath after a serious fire fight.

And remember there's allways veteran setting if you need a new challenge!

If you have two controllers, and a mate whose keen on first person shooters BUY THIS GAME!

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a FPS classic. Its stunning single player is concise yet epic, with fast and furious action littered in between suspenseful tactical gameplay and the single most epic stealth/sniper mission ever designed on a fps. Mutiplayer is legendary, being one of the single most popular games ever created. It is a cult classic and still commands surprising numbers of players both veteran and new. Its multiplayer is a competitive experience unspoiled and untarnished, truly a masterpiece.

Great game to play, awesome story line and fun to play, great playing on-line to and one of the best shooter games ever. Highly recommend it to everyone that loves these types of games.

Awesome single player campaign that keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through every twist and turn.

The multiplayer is so addictive that you cant stop playing it, you dont want to go to sleep at night, you have to earn that next upgrade for your weapon or you need that promotion to unlock that next perk.

If you havent played this before and your looking at getting Modern Warfare 2 buy this one as an appetizer!!

This game is now the benchmark to all other FPS games. A game that you can play again and again, on your own in campaign mode or get your friends around for multiplayer. If you have not got this game in your library – what are you waiting for? This game will not disappoint!

After playing Modern Warfare I was surprised that this game was so enjoyable – I couldn't stop playing the game for at least three hours! The visuals are just plain superb!

Highly addictive, whether it's a single player or online element, and if you are waiting for #2, I suggest you play number 1 before the sequel comes out!
