Castlevania: Lords of Shadow reviews

A game that has been clearly over looked this year and under hyped. Lost amongst a lot of the other big 2010 tittles. A brilliant reboot to the series that will satisfy fans of the original series and new comers. Good story, fun gameplay, and beautiful scenes. Lords of shadow gets a highly recommended.

This is definitely a worth buying game if you are a fan of Devil May Cry. Nice beautiful graphic, detail, music and cinematic event. This game comes with 2 discs. Gonna take a while to finish the game because most likely either you need to play 1 chapter more than 2× to get every secret or you die a lot =) Don't play on Knight difficulty unless you are a hardcore player. Even on Warrior (normal) difficulty I find it pretty hard. If your are a master of counter-attacking, then it should make things a bit easier. You can gain experience points and spend them to unlock new skills and many devastating combos. Overall this is a very fun and cool game.

Everything in this game has been done with so much care and polish. It has literally 100's of unlockable contents including: artwork, moves, combos, videos and heaps more. The story is very deep and has enough detail for it too be a movie. The game play and challenges are amazing as well and done to a very high standard with a lot of polish. As for the graphics this has to be one of the biggest selling points of this game, it is simply breathtaking. I would highly recommend this game to anyone. It's not too difficult either and the levels have tons of replay value. Easily one of the best AAA titles of the year.

As Gabriel you free the world from dark creatures using a cross and chain dipped in holy water , something different from the usual sword and bow so combat is a little more interesting. I found the fights with large adversaries very demanding but fun. And the intros to each episode by Patrick stewart kept me informed and interested, making me feel as though I was Gabriel on a misson for the brother hood,so very entertaining in all.

All I can say is I can't believe I had overlooked such a great game. If you like Prince of Persia and and Dante's Inferno then it's somewhere in between and you'll be up for hours of quality gaming.

Outstanding game! 2 DVDs long, so incredible value. Epic, unexpected ending. Would dare to say I enjoyed this Castlevania experience as much as when Diablo II came out. Shaping the character, Gabriel, with more skills as his spiked chain cross hacks through enemies to face off each major Dark Lord is very entertaining. Plenty puzzles and gore! Highly recommended.

Arty, beautiful environment set-ups, and exciting combat system. I never played other games in this franchise, but this one is definitely a great one to start with. If they could make the camera angle adjustable, I would vote 5 stars.
