Description

Just as we tell stories to our children, the world of animals is rich with stories. Cheeky the fox, who was born to tease the farmer's dog, so that her family can feast on delicious roast chickens every Sunday, is sad because she wants to be just like the Great Urban Fox from her mother's story. Cheeky sets out on her own path to help her best friend, the tint rooster Cluck, become the rooster he always wanted to be while finding herself. To do this, this must leave their homes in the countryside and search for the famous Doctor Tickleychinicus in the city.

Author Biography

I'm Joseph David Clark, A British writer, and living in North Wales. I'm a PhD English Literature Candidate student at Bangor University. I work as a private tutor, teaching High School English Literature and French. I enjoy martial arts, games, and reading, particularly children's stories from across the world. My favourite children's writer has to be Roald Dahl, because I love The Twits so much. I also enjoy reading 1001 Arabian Nights and Tales of the Brothers Grimm. I aim to become a teacher. I am also very gifted with poetry, having won an award in High School during the school's eisteddfod and I have had two poems published in the university creative writing magazine in 2011-12.
