Such being the nature of the ame, two important considerations arise. First, that ess bein an amuse ment delightful through every period of ife, and at the same time improvin the mind by exercising some of its most valuable qu ities; which, as Dr. Frana observes, are to be acquired and strengthened by it, so as to become habits ready on all occasions viz.
