Why research the book of Mormon? Doesn't the Holy Ghost tell us all we need to know? This researcher found that answers to his questions as to the historicity of the book only led to more questions. Was it God who advised Nephi to kill Laban? Or was it John 11: 50. Were the Plates of Brass real? Were the plates of Nephi real gold or were they a light weight alloy? These questions and others drove me to search for the truth if it was to be found in the Book of Mormon. My search was for the truth and nothing else.
