I have been long enough among you to be sure of your sympathy at all times and I have only to look round me to receive the assurance that now, especially, it is not wanting. I see in your friendly faces the expressive tokens of the kindness that has been shown to me by all from the first hour of my coming among you down to the present time. I know too and feel that I am now receiving the support of the prayers of many and of the good wishes of all.
