Description

If you're a novice, this book will be an exciting way to learn the basics of circular knitting. If you're a pro, it will open new doors and introduce you to some new techniques to familiar methods. We open each chapter with "Ways of Working," where we present the basics of each circular method, along with visual helpers, making it a breeze to learn all the fundamentals of circular knitting. We kick things off with our primer chapter- Back and Forth Basics, showing you how easy it is to use one circular needle for back and forth projects. You'll never look at straight needles the same way again! We then transition into the next chapter: Build a Foundation from the Bottom-Up. If you're fanatical about bottom-up pullovers, then this is the chapter for you! With little or no sewing involved- no muss, no fuss, and not pesky ends to weave in! For those top-down divas, we've compiled a selection of exciting fashion-forward projects in Take it from the Top-Down. Then, just when you thought we've covered it all, we flip everything sideways! You'll love exploring the many unexpected construction approaches in "Smoothly Sailing Side-to-Side." This dynamic method, also known as cuff-to-cuff, allows you to work portions of your project both back and forth, and in the round in one piece. From the moment you open Circular Knitting Redefined, you'll be enthralled by the exciting world that circular knitting brings, and you may realize that it's high time to finally put those straight needles to bed!
