The Rubber inserts do not keep individual figures seperate as they do not form individual cells but allow the figures to come together and get damaged.

I'm happy with it and it store's them well
Perfect for transporting metal figures
The citadel skirmish figure case is exceptionally light, but it is strong enough to cart around your mintures. Did feel however that the price point was a tad high.
