Author Biography
Annita Montoute is a Lecturer at the Institute of International Relations at The University of the West Indies. She was also a Research Fellow at the European Centre for Development Policy Management, a Maastricht - based think tank which focusses on relations between the African, Caribbean and Pacific (ACP) group and the European Union (EU). Her doctoral thesis focused on the role of civil society in trade policy formulation. She has written on topics related to the Caribbean's economic and external relations, including cooperation between the ACP and the EU; civil society participation in the Caribbean's economic partnership agreement with the EU; and the region's relations with China and other emerging powers.
