The second Classic Fighters Marlborough airshow was held at Omaka Aerodrome (Blenheim, New Zealand) during Easter 2003.

Building on the success of the first airshow two years earlier, this event took the unique attributes of Classic Fighters, and improved upon them to provide an entertainment spectacular reaching all new heights. With a significant number of aircraft and displays not seen anywhere else in New Zealand in recent times, and movie-like ground theatre scenarios, this was an airshow that stunned the crowd, and firmly placed Classic Fighters on the ‘must-see’ list. This DVD offers a glimpse of the aircraft at the show, with air-to-air footage and aircraft mounted cameras providing shots of some of these historic aircraft high above the crowd in their natural element.

Witness the attack of the five Fokker Dr.1 Triplanes – the first time since 1918 this sight has been seen anywhere. See the Sopwith Camel dogfight with the infamous Red Baron’s Triplane. Watch as the full scale World War One tank, and British ‘Tommies’ overrun the German field gun positions. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the other featured displays – P51 Mustang and P40 Kittyhawk, PBY-5a Catalina, Lockheed 12a Electra, Tiger Moth barnstorming aerobatic display, RNZAF helicopter and heavy aircraft displays, "Roaring Forties" Harvard display team, glider aerobatics, Yak 52 and Nanchang air race, and the Second World War North African ground theatre scenario featuring a Panther tank, more troops, more noise and more gunfire!

Special Bonus: includes the 2001 Airshow at no extra cost.
