One of the woodworking industry’s most experienced journalists, Jim Harrold brings nearly three decades of writing and woodworking to Classic Wooden Toys. His goal is to help woodworkers learn as much about woodworking as possible through a variety of attractive projects and essential techniques. During his time as a woodworking editor, Jim served as the editor of Woodcraft, Home Plan Ideas, Do-It-Yourself, and Wood magazines, and headed up several building books bearing the Better Homes & Gardens name. Now retired, Jim’s assembled the shop he’s always wanted and spends his free time building furniture, jewelry boxes, and whatever else he finds interesting. He lives in Hawaii.
