Thanks Mighty Ape for the fast delivery as usual! I purchased the Eliminator Mod Pack to upgrade my secondary gaming setup, an alternative to purchasing an extra Elite controller (which is expensive) and wouldn't be used much. I just wanted the extra, fully programmable buttons, and could accept not having the custom response curves for the thumbs sticks that the Elite controller offers.

Installation and operation was straightforward, the pack fits perfectly and firmly on the standard xbox wireless controller and the added buttons are well positioned with a positive and “clicky” response. The button mapping is achieved on the pack itself, there are many helpful videos available online and the included instructions are very clear.

Some things worth noting: This will work with a slightly older controller that uses micro USB connections, type C USB will not be compatible.

The controller will now be wired to operate, the included braided cord seems very sturdy and has sufficient length.

After I first installed the pack it worked as expected, I then did a controller update to latest firmware. After that, the Eliminator did not work, disaster! The solution was to revert the update on the controller; which can be done on the xbox console in the “Get help” section, it then worked perfectly as before, lesson learned.

I have not used any of the mod functions that come with it, perhaps in the future, for now I am very happy with the Eliminator Mod Pack and would recommend it. Thanks for reading all this way!
