We got cheap “suction rectangular rack” shelves to go on bathroom tiles from that very-cheap-aussie-department-store but they didn't stay on the tiles very well. Instead I've hung them on a pair of these large 3m hooks. It's been a couple of years now and they're still good. About to do the same in the kitchen for cooking oils. Must note though, part of the strength is in the wall surface and how well the adhesive is pressed/cured before use. If that's dodgy the hook won't be as strong for as long. Wallpaper with a bit of texture is NOT your friend.
