Concord dawn's self-titled debut is unashamedly hard, fast, & grooving, yet it contains a cerebral element that also allows it to be enjoyed in more relaxed environments -- not just the dancefloor.
Anyone who goes along to a drum n' bass party in New Zealand can easily see why the scene here is rated as easily one of the best in the world, and the regular influx (and return) of big name DJs also attests to this. It is in this environment that Concord Dawn have developed over the last one and a half years to now release their debut album. With tracks from it already being played in the club environment on dub plates by the likes of DJ Trace and the Subtronix DJs there is plenty of pre-hype developing for what is a great way to kick off the winter with Concord dawn and the Kog crew.
