Core Indicators for Adolescent Health: A Regional Guide proposes a list of core indicators to assist in clarifying adolescent health needs and in collecting evidence in order to guide policy and strategy development and planning, and to design tailored interventions and services and monitor progress. It provides standard definitions of the indicators, methods and periodicity of their calculation, as well as responsibilities and possible sources of information. This publication is part of an adolescent health package comprising a set of tools to support decision-makers in situation analysis and in planning and monitoring adolescent health programs and activities at country level.
