"Holy Mice!"
5 stars"

Had big problems with Razer (mouses move themselves) and Steelseries (not working with Win10). So I chose this one as my new puppy, it turned out to be an awesome choice. It has excellent RGB lighting, metal material which does not feel cheap (unlike Razer and Steelseries), most importantly if you love you adjust the weight of mice, this beast serves you well!

"Comfy, simple, well made"

I originally bought a logitech g502 but quickly found that the excess buttons and poor button placement caused me to have less than positive first impressions. After giving it a few months I still wasnt happy and bought myself a M65, Wow… Like it was made for me specifically. First thing I noticed was the sturdy build quality, With a metal chassis it didnt feel cheap like the G502 did. The scroll wheel felt smooth and ridged, not loose and flimsy. NO EXCESS BUTTONS… I mean Guuuumon, some well placed DPI buttons and a couple back and forward thumb buttons are all you really need in the way of macros on a mouse. The M65 is perfect in this way, besides the ‘sniper’ button that is placed right where your thumb sits (but requires enough force to push that its a non issue). Tracks nicely with Corsair Mouse pad I also bought. I love the look of this mouse also. Unlike the G502 that looks like some sort of blue and black baked bean covered in dubiously placed macros that simply require a mild breeze to depress.

"Great mouse, would buy again"

Nice lighting controls, as well as enough buttons for most users and excellent weight control, my only quarrel is that there isn't quite enough room on the right of the mouse for my pinkie and ring finger as I'd like. Otherwise, great, great mouse.

"5* down to 3*"

I originally gave this mouse a 5 star, that's when I first got it. but it seems after 8 months, the scroll button is beginning to fail which is a shame as I really like this mouse. it feels really nice in my hand and is light enough to pick up and scroll, but has just enough weight that I'm not throwing it around when I do so.

Besides that sad note, it is still a nice mouse and I will hand it over to little people, when they get their own PC so I don't need to worry about them breaking good devices :D

In theory – a button on the side to slow down the mouse is good. However you will never use it and most games don't recognise it as a button – this means that you can't assign anything to it resulting in a waste of a button.

Only issue I have is that the RGB functionality is marginally less than I expected based on the images advertised. The pictures of the front RGB zone show the light bleeding up the sides of the scroll wheel, however this is not the case even in the dark. In actuality the front zone projects light in a more forward direction emanating from the lower section of the scroll wheel. Also the zone lighting effects do not seem to be able to be individually set for the front and back zones, the only way to get the zones to emanate different colours is to set a cycling rainbow effect that alternates from the front to back zone which gives the appearance of a different colour on each zone at the same time, otherwise both zones lock to the same colour and effect. Other thought is that the main image presented on the product page actually shows at the bottom rear of the mouse (where there are diagonal slots) a red light, the logo is yellow and the front (scroll wheel area is blue), this is not possible as there are in fact only 2 zones and the light that bleeds out the slots is the same colour as the logo zone. Unless my mouse is faulty (however I do not believe this to be the case), this would appear to be false advertising. Beyond that the mouse is really good in all other aspects. I have taken the issue up with the customer support team and am currently awaiting resolution. note This issue was resolved, I was given a gift from Mighty Ape and they updated the product information page to correctly reflect the features of the mouse, good on them!
