First the positives. The loom kit comes with 3 interlocking plates. You can buy additional packets to extend the length of the loom. The bands are ok. The colour fades after stretching it but it holds the tension quite well. . Now the negatives. The loom is not adjustable. You're stuck with the pins in an off-set position. The pegs (which you can see below the needle in the pic) are a couple of mm's shorter than the original loom and are prone to loosening and popping out of the loom or even snapping if there is too much tension on them. You will not be able to create designs which require the bracelet to fall between the pins since there is a fixed base plate. The end clips are chunky, coloured and an awkward shape. Don't bother with the hook. It's small, plastic and will easily bend when looming off pins with a lot of bands on them.
Buy the original rainbow loom or an equivalent which has adjustable bar pins if you want to make better quality bracelets.
