I was dubious about this game, having played quite a few naval games and they never really gave me what I was looking for… something quick and fun to play. This game is fantastic, its rule system is very easy to understand and you are playing in no time. the real nuance is the subtlety in the rules that reward clever planning, where to put your ships and when to make your move.....and torpedoes don't always work!! Great game with lots of laughs. Recommended!!
There was much confusion in the dogfight that was a WW2 motor torpedo boat battle. Poor visibility, gunfire, smoke and noise could overwhelm the senses of even experienced captains.
