In March of '98, Philly's Mayor hired an "outsider," as his Top Cop. After only a few days at the helm, Commissioner Delany tracked down Inspector Mickey Devlin and offered him a "Special Assistant Position" in his new administration. Four months later Devlin received an early morning call from the Birthplace of Baseball, Cooperstown, New York. On the line was an animated Delany ordering Mickey to, "Get your Irish arse to Cooperstown." Within hours he and Cooperstown's Chief of Police were thrust into a deadly assassination plot. Induction weekend will never be the same.
