The first series to be filmed in colour, and the actors are more at home in their roles. In this series Jones' van makes it's first appearance as the platoons transport. There are some classic episodes in this series including ‘Sons of the Sea’, ‘The Day The Balloon Went Up’ and ‘Menace from the Deep’, not to mention the critically acclaimed ‘Branded’. ‘Room at the Bottom’ was originally thought lost, but a copy was found in black and white, which is on this set, though it has since been re-coloured. If you are a fan, or enjoy great acting and great comedy, this is a must have for your collection.
