It takes a bit of grinding but once you get that much needed gear you find what once was a challenge is now a breeze. Makin nominal use of your equipment and changing your gear to suit the encounter will ensure success.

Just make sure you have plenty of time available, this isn't a quick game.

This game was well worth the time, despite having a lot of planning involved. The rules are very vague on particular issues and can be somewhat frustrating, but watching tutorials online definitely speeds the process up. Once you're in the game and have figured it out, it's a great time, and I'd love to see expansions come out for it later, such as more bosses and treasures, for now it is a solid game and would definitely recommend it

I was not a fan of the Dark Souls video games due to the difficulty, but I am more into Table Top games than Video Games. Dark Souls plays fast with quick and deadly combat resolution and the game really shines when you go up against the Mini Bosses and Bosses. This game is pretty simple but very effective where other games may over complicate matters and end up taking away from the experience instead of adding to it. Heartily recommend this game and a couple of house rules to help speed up its typical grind. You will want to expand on this base game with soon with more expansions.
