The book introduces you to the concepts of data mining using a familiar Excel interface. The first two chapters already justified the purchase price of this book and further reading reveals more power in the system.

If you are interested in data mining or have considered doing risk analysis, predictive analytics and so forth this book would be well worth a purchase.

ZhaoHui Tang is a principal group program manager at Microsoft adCenter and inventor of Keyword Services Platform. Bogdan Crivat is a senior software design engineer in SQL Server Analysis Services at Microsoft, working primarily on the data mining platform.
