DC has collaborated with Warner Bros. to produce a soundtrack featuring songs inspired by Dark Nights: Metal, the blockbuster comic book event that reunited the best-selling Batman talent team of writer Scott Snyder and artist Greg Capullo.
Production of the soundtrack was guided by two of the recording industry's brightest stars, Tyler Bates and Mike Elizondo. Bates has produced and composed music for movies, including Watchmen, 300 and the Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, as well as television and video games. He is also the lead guitarist for the rock band Marilyn Manson. Mike Elizondo, Senior Vice President of A&R at Warner Bros. Records, co-produced the soundtrack with Bates. Elizondo has worked with some of the most prolific artists in hip-hop, most notably Dr. Dre and Eminem. He has also collaborated with popular music acts such as Twenty One Pilots, Muse, Mastodon and Avenged Sevenfold.
This pressing will be limited to only 4,000 copies, while exclusive artwork adorns both sides of the disc. Accompanied by a poster and a 32 page comic book.
