After a colourful career performing in many successful bands, Declan Nerney was prompted by his popularity, versatility and interest from the media and public to explore his own musical career as a solo artist.
Years later, Nerney has recorded 8 top-selling albums, and established some great self-penned songs along with song-writing maestro Henry McMahon. On the concert circuit, he is one of the top box office attractions not just in his native country of Ireland but also in America and Britain where he has built up a mighty following of loyal fans and friends. He has appeared on all major television shows including "Kelly" and "The Late Late Show".
Lucky I Guess includes 16 great songs such as The Gallant John Joe, which celebrates the famous Cavan victory over Kerry in the only all Ireland final to be played outside of Dublin at the Polo Grounds in New York. The DVD also celebrates the unique scenery from all over the Emerald Isle as featured in songs such as the Sprig of Irish Heather, and Old Galway Town, plus many, many more.
Photographs and Memories was shot in Canada in 1990 and features some of his earliest recordings such as Picture of my World, My Native Town Drumlish, and the Green Hills are Rolling Still. This was one of Declan's most popular videos now, for the first time, available on DVD.
