Deep Space describes itself as an adventure into future dub, spacey vibes,
and abstract grooves and this compilation brings you a taste of what it is like
to be there on a Monday night.
François, a master live mixer and DJ, takes us on a journey and shows us the
thread, starting with old and new dub from the Skatalites, Jah Warrior, and
Rhythm & Sound, taking it to dubbed-out house with Chicken Lips and Jungle
Sounds, a reggae offering from Matthias Heilbronn, further stretching it into
Matrix's futuristic, electrifying drum & bass and into cosmic techno with
Carl Craig, Baby Ford and Jeff Mills. For the occasion, François K. has also
gotten together with dub legends Mutabaruka and U-Roy for original productions
exclusive to this compilation.
