What a fantastic and inspiring biography. I loved this book for its frank retelling of Martin Smith's journey. It describes the tensions between touring and family, making good music, and making music that's good. We see the band's mistakes and successes, and can learn from them vicariously. We follow with anticipation the times when God blessed what they did and opened doors for them, and the times when doors didn't open. After reading this book, I went back to listening to the great songs like “Did you feel the mountains Tremble-” and “History Maker” with new meaning and power. Craig Borlase (author) was with the band since the early days. One of my top five all time books.
