My daughter (9) loves the Deltora Quest series and I have also become a fan through reading them to her. The story is fantasy/adventure with challenges for the main characters to face, usually defeating an evil element. While there is suspense the stories are very low on violence and not too scary. This book is a great buy for $35 as it includes all 8 books of the first series. To buy them individually it is $20 a pop.
Great bargain for all of the books packed into one. Its hard to put this book down with each enticing chapter pulling you back in for more. A good book for any age :)
Years ago, I read the Deltora Quest series and absolutely loved it so when I saw it was selling on Mighty Ape at a discounted price, I had to get it. I have absolutely no regrets – it's as good and interesting to read now as a young adult, as it was when I read it as a teenager. It's a fascinating adventure story full of twists and turns and puzzles which the characters have to solve – I absolutely love it.
