My two and a half year old grandson LOVES this easel. I bought the accessory set too and the trays and paint containers are strong and complete the look. My grandson is tiny for his age but the lowest setting works for him and he can clean the blackboard entirely. The height settings were my biggest concern. The highest setting is fine for my 9 year old grandchild and I think it would be fine for older children too.
My only beef, and the reason I've not given it 5 stars, is that it's fixed in the open position which makes it safe for children but annoys me because I have a small apartment and have to unscrew the sides to pack it away between visits.
