I have read through this book twice already (haven't started the projects yet) but WOW!! The information provided in this book is just incredible. It makes you think about stretching your artistic ideas in so many directions and pushes for quantity over quality when you are creating for the projects, this makes you completely free to create without the worry of “is it perfect-” “Is it what is required-” which I struggle with and then usually just give up. This book is thoroughly inspiring and I honestly believe that if you did all of the challenges you would be a master idea generator (which is what the game and movie industries are after, though I only want to be able to improve my own idea generating, I am not looking for a job out of it). I also believe if you are true to yourself it could take years to complete the projects, but I very much look forward to the process. I have looked at this book before and originally thought that it would not help me because it said digital, which I don't use, but it really has a lot of inspirational information for paper and pencil artists too. You have to start with a sketch anyway, so paper and pencil is no problem and the digital information wasn't overly forced upon the reader which I really appreciated. Overall a great book, a great read, very informative and easy to read. It will be a go to for many years I think.
