This game is the reason I got a PS4, I cannot wait till this game comes out, there are so many interviews with the creators that reveal amazing details about the design process, the business model and of course the game itself; that make this a must have for me. Bungie is going to blow people's minds with this game, a subscription-free MMOFPS/RPG that Bungie are calling a ‘shared world shooter’ with unprecedented levels of character customization and game-world persistence. I cannot wait for the shooter we've always wanted.

Now that the reign of Microsoft's enslavement of Bungie is over, dedicated Sony fans will be able to experience a little magic. While many elements of Destiny appear similar to Halo, I don't think this is a particularly bad thing as bungie have been relatively consistent in the past in terms of the over-all aesthetic of their games between instalments. So whatever greatness that earlier Halo games had will hopefully resonate in the Destiny series. Fingers Crossed!
I've been playing the beta everyday, its graphics, the game play, everything is truly next gen, everything run so smoothly that even during pvp i dont feel any lagging.
lets hope on release its server can handle the load… and plz dun pull another delay like all those next gen big title…
I have played the BETA for a week now, and it is gonna be a smash-hit game. I leveled up three characters to Lvl 8, one of each class (Hunter, Warlock and Titan) and while it was repetitive in some respects, just remember that BETA gives limited gameplay anyway. I, for one, am looking forward to this game.
I wrote a preview earlier that was rather negative (sorry) well anyway I have actually played several hours on the Beta and I must say this game is looking really damn good..
I played about 30 hours in the BETA and got to level 8 with each class. The RPG aspect of the game was fantastic! It was engaging and exciting even at the third play through. The PvP Crucible was a little disappointing though. The hit detection lag was extreme, far worse than Battlefield 4 in its current state. I did hear that this was due to no Australian based servers for the multiplayer part of the game.
Regardless the “single” player story mode looks to work great and is the main draw card for most players I would think. It felt like Borderlands crossed with Halo. I have it pre-ordered and can't wait.
Just played a little (Russia only) in the Beta, from what I've seen this is by far the most aesthetic game on the PS4, and I never saw any noticeable drop in fps.
The few gun’s I got to try each have quite a different feel to them, really like the pulse rifle for a nice medium range and good accuracy if you don’t go spray and pray technique. Then combined with one of the sniper types for that long range surprise, fun to watch the rest scatter after you one headshot a big guy ;).
Like the RPG element of gaining gear that also levels as it’s used, so makes swapping out a nice full levelled gun for a better damage but no specials gun a tough decision.
My one complaint would be I couldn’t find a way to skip the cut scene’s, which is fine if your sticking to one class, but as I wanted a little flavour taste of all 3, so I got to watch a some scenes a few times.
All in all very happy I’ve got this one on pre-order ;)
