Author Biography:

Romie Minor is the head archivist at The Parade Company archives, as well as a librarian at the Burton Historical Collection and an adjunct faculty member at Wayne State University. Laurie Anne Tamborino is a school media specialist with the Lincoln Park Schools in suburban Detroit. The Parade Company is a non-profit group governed by the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation, which is responsible for planning and producing the parade each year.
