Author Biography

Developing stories is something Ginger King has done for as long as she can remember. Making up tales about the life she saw out in the world and in her dreams has been going on since she was a young child. As she grew, she put the telling of stories aside during her college life and focused on a business career thereafter. However, when the corporate world required a move that she did not want to make, she began thinking of what to do with her life and career moving forward. Hearing, "You need to be writing" in the back of her mind, coupled with a chance meeting of a publisher who saw a market for her recipes brought her into the publishing world in 2012. Diamond Road is her debut novel and is the beginning of a series of women's contemporary fiction novels called the Lost and Found Series. The first books of Ginger's to be published are part of her Carolina Wine Country Cooking series which is all about cooking with or pairing with wines from the Carolina vines. She also writes poetry, short fiction and is a contributor to anthologies and text books such as the World Food Travel Association's culinary travel guide titled Have Fork Will Travel. Ginger writes a column for Yadkin Valley Living Magazine and periodically for other regional NC magazines across the state. Her websites and contain links to her blogs, Facebook and Twitter feeds.
