Must buy for jrpg fans. What I love about this franchise is the comedy and the battle system. The bought disc was in region 2 format which means a region 2 psn account may be needed to make dlcs work. So far, it runs fine in my ps3. But for dlcs, I have yet to confirm if it works in a NZ psn. Hope it does.

This is the first Disgaea series game I have played although I have stared at their cases many times in games shops that stock them. I have been blown away and left wondering why I didn't pick up this series earlier. Although you could argue that this is a tactics game that deserves to be on gameboy advance but it is so much more. The voice acting is spectacular undoubtedly some of the best I've heard. The meta elements with item world and character world allowing significant customization plus the large number of monsters that you can create, then magichange or fuse them. Combine all that with the 186000 levels that you can obtain for each character and you've got an awe encompassing RPG that I can't even imagine 100%ing at the moment.

Have enjoyed playing this game- excellent overall graphics and game play along with just the right degree of complexity.

If ur into Strategy & turn based RPG's or anime at all, get this game. You wont regret it. Theres no limit to this game! Equipping, Levelling, Monster-Fusions, Super Team attacks – this is one of the best Rpg's i've ever played. The protagonist is a Vampire who feasts on sardines rather than human blood, he has a werewolf sidekick, come on enough said! this is humorous, intelligent and incredibly deep gameplay. seriously, get it.
