He is framed for her murder and forced to become an assassin, seeking revenge on those who conspired against him. Corvo is aided in his quest by the Loyalists - a resistance group fighting to reclaim Dunwall, and the Outsider - a powerful being who imbues Corvo with magical abilities.

Adam Christopher is novelist, comic writer, and award- winning editor. Adam is the author of The Burning Dark and the forthcoming LA Trilogy as well as co-writer of The Shieid for Dark Circle Comics. His debut novel, Empire State, was Sci-Fi NoWs Book of the Year and a Financial Times Book of the Year for 2012. Born in New Zealand, he has lived in Great Britain since 2006.
