Stunning artwork and photos, many multiple-times larger than real life. Not a massive amount of text, but enough for most kids. Some of the text is in a little too small a font (especially the stats and facts / at a glance facts). But the images are amazing/beautiful. DK books are great reference books for kids and this volume is well up to their usual standard. Insects from all around the world. Even includes a 2-page spread on the Giant Weta – the heaviest insect in the world. A lovely, large, hardcover volume.
