Jon Pertwee, best Doctor ever. This is a novelisation of a televised story arc. It is well written, and enjoyable, and you get a good flavour through the writing of the quirks and mannerisms of Jon Pertwee as the Doctor. But, I was disappointed at it's lack of depth, and how it rushed through events. Being a novelisation I thought it could have taken it's time and gone into events in more detail. For example, the Doctor meets his new ‘companion’, five paragraphs later they are best buddies and she will follow him anywhere. However, this is one of the classic Doctor Who stories and a good if short read and should be in the collection of every fan.
