If you love playing Dominion this is just awesome. Loads more action cards giving even more variety. The great thing is that these action cards often have a second action related to the cards name, which makes it quite neat. Also great is that this extension contains all the basic cards as well, so it can be played with the original Dominion or by itself. If you have Dominion already you can have two groups of up to 4 players playing at the same time as well.
This is so easy to play! It only took me 4 times until I picked it up. At first I thought it was a game for guys but I totally thought wrong.
The graphics on the game cards are soo beautiful, I find myself looking at the cards for ages never realising its my turn.
This game is for the whole family, and everyone will have so much fun playing it. Its addictive!
I play a lot of Ticket to Ride, Settlers of Catan and Carcassonne so I'm a bit of a sceptic when it comes to card only games but after watching a review on this game, I took a step of faith and bought it…it is honestly one of the best games I have played and very easy to pick up. I already have 5 of my friends hooked on it. Replay value is huge! Almost endless with the amount of cards and how you set it up. From someone who is not big on card only board games, this will surprise you as it did me!
In Dominion: Intrigue (as with Dominion), each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end.
