DK Country was the first SNES game I owned. This was even better than I remember that being. This game was one of the best platformers I've played…

However… It was very poorly balanced in regards to difficulty. Frequently I would have to attempt single checkpoints on the rocket barrel and rail cart levels a dozen times… Yet I destroyed the final boss on my second attempt. Some levels I didn't even get hurt. It went from easy to brutal then back again.

Despite my intense frustration, and near willingness to stop playing, now it is complete I would give it a 5/5. The rest was so good it made up for it.

This fantastic game offers a variety of different levels rather than the same old bland concept of run and jump! Nice mechanics and storyline! Very good game! 4.5/5

This game is really good and addicting! It is probably the best platformer game you can get right now! I have not played the wii version but I am guessing it is very similar. This is a must nave for any 3ds owner!
