An exellent doco with all three remaining members of the legendary band The Doors telling some more than interesting tales of their one and only front man Jim Morrison. Morrisons legend lives on today as does his lyrics and music, the rerelease of the Doors albums in 2007 using todays technology proves just how incredible their acid powered Blues RocknRoll still influence us all,his resting place in Paris France is one of the biggest tourist attractions, you only have to look for his grave on utube and you will witness people just sitting around his tombstone, the graffitti, the messages left in stone, the flowers,40 years after his death he still remains as famous as ever

Description

No One Here Gets Out Alive, The Doors' Tribute to Jim Morrison is a full exploration of the controversial and quixotic singer, delving into his fascination with cinema and psychology, mysticism and sexuality, poetry and power.

In addition to performance clips of the band in action, it featurs interviews with all of the surviving members of The Doors and many others who were instrumental in creating and maintaining the legend, from record producer Paul Rothchild to biographers Danny Sugerman and Jerry Hopkins (who wrote the best seller, "No One Here Gets Out Alive", from which this programme was inspired.)
