Plot is weird, a bit predictable perhaps, but hangs together well and there are tons of original features too. Character and plot development is believable with interesting subplots, fabulous artwork and a good mixture of Gothic inspired backdrops. Basically a kids tale, but with a bit of adult humour and the odd dark theme. Love the music too.
The world is cowering in anticipation of the dreaded arrival of the World Gobbler, a mighty dragon out to plunder and destroy everything in his path. The king's granddaughter Zoe (voiced by Mary Matilyn Mouser) employs reluctant dragon hunters Lian-Chu (Forest Whitaker) and Gwizdo (Rob Paulsen) to finish him off once and for all – little knowing that they are more intent on their longstanding dream of setting up a mussel farm than on saving the world from imminent destruction.
