The rail itself is fine, but installation is fiddly, and the plastic hinges are brittle and cheap. We have had two. The first broke at the plastic hinge aftet a week or so. Got sent a replacement which we used for a monyh before retiring it. Next baby 2 years later and the hinge snapped in the same place after a week of use. Look for something else as this is poor manufacturing
