Aisling of Brudiar has spent her whole life with the shadow of evil slowly creeping over her land. That changes when she is sent to find a master swordsman to save her country. If she fails, her life will be forfeited. She does not expect that the swordsman to be a wounded elven prince masquerading as a soldier. Runach has spent his years in obscurity and it takes all of Aisling's powers to persuade him to help her country.
