Successful businessman, Paul Johnson controls a construction company in Islington, North London. When his dubious past is discovered by two of his employees, things take a turn for the worst, blackmail takes hold of the situation and Paul is driven to drink and depression. He decides not to tell anyone and go along with the blackmailers' demands, but a strange twist of fate results in an unusual scenario. Meanwhile Paul's Managing Director loses his home and children and following much soul searching has a passionate affair with Jane Reece, a client. When Jane's husband discovers his wife's indiscretions he takes the law into his own hands which results in an unpredictable conclusion.
John Wilson was born in 1953 in North London and after attending a local prep school was educated at Culford School near Bury St. Edmunds in Suffolk, where he studied English and History and was captain of cricket. Upon leaving school he joined the family business elevating to managing director in 1988 and carries on running the organisation to this day. He has three daughters and lives with his wife in Hertfordshire.
