Author Biography
Anna Mackenzie is a full-time writer and editor who lives on a farm in the Hawke's Bay. She has a strong sense of place and a love of rugged landscapes. Ebony Hill is her fifth novel for young adults. Her novel The Sea-wreck Stranger won an Honour Award in the 2008 NZ Post Children's Book Awards, and was joint winner of the Sir Julius Vogel Award for Science Fiction in the same year.
