Has worked for the 4 months I've had it and nothing has gone wrong. Would definitely recommend. Only downside is that 4 ports may not be enough for you, but it's enough for me.

I brought this because I needed more power for my various USB devices than my laptop could provide. I'm impressed with it and may yet buy another for a family member.
Have a OSMC Vero 4K media player. I was finding that when I was trying to play 4K movies from a 4TB portable HDD through the players USB port, that the movie would buffer or not play. After troubleshooting, found that the larger sized HDD was attempting to draw too much power from the Vero 4K. 1TB & 2TB drives had no problem with the same 4K movies. Using this hub fixed that problem. It is a nice small unobtrusive design.
