Rachel Ruderman has written for many Disney shows such as Sofia the First, Elena of Avalor, and Handy Manny. Her writing on Sofia the First earned her a Humanitas Prize as well as an Emmy nomination. She currently lives in Redondo Beach with her husband and their two children.
