Acclaimed world musicians Tinariwen will release their eighth album Elwan on Friday 10 February 2017 through Wedge / [PIAS].
Tinariwen recorded Elwan in the desert of California’s Joshua Tree National Park, as well as in M’Hamid El Ghizlane–an oasis in southern Morocco.
Elwan features guest appearances by Kurt Vile, Matt Sweeney, Mark Lanegan, and others.
Their breakthrough international album Aman Iman (2007) inspired the likes of Thom Yorke (Radiohead), Santana & Henry Rollins.
