The Eufaula/Barbour Chamber of Commerce has served local residents for over 75 years; the Chamber's Heritage Committee is made up of volunteers striving to preserve the community's heritage and promote its growth and development. The Eufaula Heritage Association was formed in 1965 as the advocacy group for local preservation. Headquartered in Shorter Mansion, the Association sponsors the Eufaula Pilgrimage Tour of Homes each spring. Together these groups have created an impressive tribute to their friends and neighbors in Eufaula and Barbour County, Alabama.
